ALERT: Electronic Funds Transfer Fraud Scheme

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) has released an important notice about a fraud scheme with the potential for large losses. In the scheme identified by OIG, fraudsters diverted Federal and State payments intended for providers participating in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Action Required: Managed Care Provider Enrollment with the State Medicaid Agency MES

Idaho Medicaid is required to execute provider agreements with managed care providers and enroll them with the State Medicaid Agency Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES). Participating providers must enroll with Idaho Medicaid MES vendor Gainwell Technologies during the enrollment period from March 3, 2025, through April 30, 2025. Please read our provider bulletin carefully to learn more and take action today.

Introducing MCNA’s Hygienist Helpline

MCNA now offers our Idaho Smiles members access to our After-Hours Hygienist Helpline. The Helpline is staffed by dental hygienists who can evaluate members’ dental issues and refer them to the most appropriate setting for care.
