MCNA's has updated our Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) and they are are now available for your office. Our approved CPGs can be downloaded from the Support and Downloads page in the Provider Portal and from MCNA's website under Guides and Tools.
IDHW Notice: Managed Care Provider Enrollment with the State Medicaid Agency

The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare (IDHW) has released a notice informing providers about the requirement to enroll and remain active with the State Medicaid Agency through Gainwell Technologies. All dental providers must enroll with Idaho Medicaid’s vendor Gainwell Technologies to continue to provide services to Medicaid members. Please read the IDHW's Information Release MA26-17 for full details.

The deadline for Medicaid dental provider enrollment with Gainwell Technologies, the Idaho Medicaid Enterprise System vendor, was March 31, 2026. MCNA would like to encourage your office to review your enrollment and verify that all key steps were completed. Please read our provider bulletin, which contains a short guide to assist you in verifying and, if necessary, completing your enrollment with Gainwell Technologies.

Updated Idaho Provider Manual Now Available

A new version of the Idaho Smiles Provider Manual is now available with an effective date of January 1, 2026. You will find a summary of the changes in the Revision History located after the Contact Information section in the manual. You can download your copy of version 1.14 of the provider manual at https://manuals.mcna.net/idaho.
2026 American Dental Association CDT Code Changes

The American Dental Association (ADA) has released the 2026 version of the Current Dental Terminology (CDT) dental procedure code manual. Please read our provider bulletin for the full list of the dental services benefit changes that have been made to support updates applicable to the Idaho Smiles Medicaid Dental program.
